Ticket Costs Explained

How do you determine the face value of a ticket?
The promoter, venue, and/or artist determine the face value of a ticket. UNLVtickets does not determine the face value of tickets.

What is the facility charge?
The Facility Fee, which is incorporated into the Convenience Charge, is typically $3.00 per ticket. This fee includes a $2.00 per ticket parking fee and a $1.00 utility fee.

In addition to the regular fees for the Thomas & Mack Center, all tickets subject to an additional 5% (Cox Pavilion 10%) Live Entertainment Tax as of January 1, 2004.

What is the convenience charge?
At UNLVtickets, we want your ability to purchase tickets to be simple and easy. The Convenience Charge fee covers costs that allow UNLVtickets to provide the widest range of available tickets while giving you three easy ways to purchase: unlvtickets.com, (702) 739-FANS (3267), and in person at any La Bonita Supermarket.

The Convenience Charge varies depending on where you purchase your tickets. A Convenience Charge is normally applied when you purchase through unlvtickets.com, (702) 739-FANS (3267), or one of our ticket outlets listed above.

What is the order processing fee?
The Order Processing Fee is usually $3.75 per order and it covers the cost to fulfill your ticket request when purchasing online or over the phone. This charge includes services like taking and maintaining your order on our ticketing systems, arranging for shipping and/or coordinating with the Ticket Office Will Call Window. It is applied to your entire order, not each ticket. The Order Processing Fee is applied regardless of whether your tickets are mailed or held at the Ticket Office Will Call Window.

What is the Nevada Live Entertainment Tax?
In addition to our convenience, facility, and order processing fees, all tickets for events at the Thomas & Mack Center are also subject to an additional 5% (Cox Pavilion 10%) Live Entertainment Tax as of January 1, 2004.
