Get Your Reb On

Hello Rebels Fans,

These are the special weeks we look forward to in this business and we are happy we get to share the experiences with you - our great fans. It's an EXCITING week to be a Rebel! Thanks for being a part of all the great things going on with UNLV Athletics:

REBEL ATHLETIC FUND ENHANCEMENTS, UPDATES

We will be mailing out RAF renewals as well as football ticket renewals in early March. In an effort to keep growing the Runnin' Rebel basketball program nationally, we are making some much-needed adjustments having to do with priority seating scholarship donation levels for men's basketball and the benefits offered through the RAF. We will be making slight increases to the donation levels as well as increasing the number of seats in the arena that have a donation attached to a season ticket purchase. This is only the second increase in the past 11 years and for UNLV to remain competitive on the national scene and grow to become the program we all want it to be, these updates are a must. Please click here for more information on the updates. Thank you for supporting YOUR Runnin' Rebels. The community's increased support of the program in recent years has helped the program rise to where it is now. And, together, we can keep growing it under one of the finest young head coaches in the nation, Dave Rice. THANK YOU and Let's Run.

RUNNIN' REBELS - WEAR WHITE THIS SATURDAY NIGHT

Obviously, our Runnin' Rebels have a big game at Colorado State this Wednesday. However, Saturday is going to be a special night at the Thomas &
Mack Center as we honor a very important senior class - Oscar Bellfield, Brice Massamba, Chace Stanback and Kendall Wallace. The four seniors are expected to leave UNLV having each played in three NCAA Tournaments - something no senior has done in nearly 20 years with the program. Please help us honor them by WEARING WHITE this Saturday as they take on Wyoming during the annual Senior Night White Out... The first 5,000 fans will receive a free white Let's Run t-shirt as well as Senior Posters. Please arrive early for the special pre-game ceremony to honor our graduating student-athletes. (And, we are happy to announce, all are on track to receive their diplomas this spring or summer.)

NCAA TOURNAMENT TICKET INFORMATION

All Rebel Athletic Fund members and Runnin' Rebel season ticket holders will be receive an email update soon about the process to request tickets for the upcoming NCAA Tournament through UNLV's allotment. The process will be very similar to last year and priority will be based on RAF priority points.

MEN'S GOLFERS KEEP WINNING

The No. 11 UNLV men's golf team won this past weekend at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Desert, Calif., marking its fourth win in six tournaments. Junior Kevin Penner won the event for the second straight year while teammate Derek Ernst finished second. REBEL TRACK & FIELD PROGRAM ON THE RISE

The UNLV indoor track & field team had six individuals and two relay teams named to the 2012 Mountain West Indoor Track & Field All-Conference Team earlier this week. In all, the Rebels claimed nine top-three finishes this past weekend, which were the most since 2000. Dating back to 2006, when the MW began recognizing all-conference competitors, UNLV's haul in 2012 is easily the most by the program in the past seven years.

REBEL SWIMMERS IMPRESS AT CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS

The UNLV men's swimming and diving team finished a close second at the 2012 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships... The Rebel women's swimming and diving team finished third at last weekend's Mountain West Conference Championships.

THANK YOU for your continued support of Rebel Athletics. And, remember, this Saturday, WEAR WHITE and support UNLV.
